Foundation Stone Scholarship

Freemasonry has a long history of advocating for public education and supporting young scholars in their educational journey, from 17th century stone masons to Grand Master Benjamin Franklin urging the adoption of a public school system in Pennsylvania and helping to organize the University of Pennsylvania.

Jefferson County Lodge also has a long history of supporting education and young scholars. As a fraternal organization, we support young men heading to post-secondary education with a generous scholarship, the Foundation Stone Scholarship.
